One of the projects that Lee Warren Homes, Inc. is involved with is Bel-Mar Place.   This is a subdivision
that is being developed by Murphrey Properties, which is owned by Ed & Diane Murphrey.

There is sentimental attachment on behalf of Murphrey Properties, as well as Lee Warren Homes, to this
development.  Many years ago, Stephanie’s grandparents lived in a rental house on the property.    The
house is no longer there, but that is where Stephanie’s parents brought her home when she was born.

Several years ago, the Murphrey’s wanted to purchase some land to build a duplex for their mothers,
who each lived in a one-bedroom apartment.   They were interested in the lot in which the old rental
house once stood.  The former owner’s of the land did not want to sell just a portion of the farm, so in
order to purchase the lot, they had to purchase the entire farm.  The duplex was built, with a mother on
each side and a guest room for visitors to stay.

A couple of years later, the Murphrey’s proceeded with the development of the subdivision.  In naming
the subdivision, they decided that the only appropriate name choice was Bel-Mar Place, which is in honor
of Belle Murphrey and Margaret Roach, which are Ed and Diane’s mothers.

The first phase of Bel-Mar consisted of 7 lots, and has been completed.  Homes in Phase 2 of Bel-Mar,
which includes the lots along Hines Drive Extension, Sunny Lane, and the lots interior lots, are now under
construction process.
